cosmo, my analysis tends to be razor sharp. i have gtw pegged and i know it. the gulli-bulls usually are very slow on the uptake. thins hong kong thing has brought reality home.

i bought puts on xlnx at $50, atml at $45, txn at $133 and gtw at $34. they all are much lower - though i lost money on all trades except gtw.

i'm currently minting money on mu. and loving it... :-)

>Cyrix announces their entry into under $1000 home PC market<
> today.<

You sure it was Cyrix? They make CPU's sure, but I've never heard of a Cyrix brand PC. Under $500 would be really tough, you'd have to strip just about everything out of it, you'd have a CPU with a power supply in a box. Come to think of it... I guess you could argue that you can get a home PC for under $300... it's called a Nintendo 64.
