Unless you have a specific stategy to play splits, disregard it. If you have a $10 bill and it "splits" 2:1 you have 2 $5 bills. A stock dividend (split) has the same mechanics. Pay attention to the valuation. A split is a non material event to the company's value, and not all stocks that split run up. One's that do run up usually retrace. Pay more attention to the PSR, PE, and long term prospects for the company.
