Let's draw the logical conclusion from what Mr. Obama has said.... If corporate profits must be 'shared' with the american worker then wouldn't that also mean that corporate losses must be 'shared' with the workers? Can't have it just one way........

His pronouncements are beyond tiresome. He definitely needs some new speechwriters who will axe all the 'shoulds' and have to' and 'musts'. This struck me again in his two public addresses re the Egyptian uprising.

He is a font of useful advise.

1. Spend your profits on bonuses for workers.
2. Invest your profits to grow your business.

President Barack Obama prodded American businesses to do their share to help the economy, calling on executives to "get in the game" and begin investing nearly $2 trillion accumulating on their balance sheets.

Then he has the guts to say:

"I want to be clear:"

Obama: Corporate Profits "Have To Be Shared By American Workers"

The workers can share the profits like everyone else by buying shares in the company; putting their own hard earned dollars on the line to share wins and loses in equal proportion to every other owner of the company.

That is how the Pharoah meant it, wasn't it? (fitting moniker, by the way)

What a concept! Profit sharing!

Apparently obama is unaware of the endless array of profit sharing programs which exist in corporate America.

Now that obama has driven the car out of the ditch and cleared the way for corporate profits and the market is moving in the right direction, he tells us that profits must be shared.

O mercy! Life is good. But, wait. Where is my job?

I'm sure john mccain is feeling a tingle up his leg with obama's latest move to the center on mandated corporate profit sharing.

Corporate Profits "Have To Be Shared By American Workers"

This stirred up a lot of replies, and it should. It's one of the most revealing things he has said. It's straight out Socialism/Communism.

People need to be told that it's the business of the CEO to maximize his profits. And any CEO who does otherwise should be fired by his Board.

Be a cold day in hell before any pol says it.

"Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential." Barack Obama

Strange words coming from a public servant who never ran a lemonade stand and heads the most powerful capitalist nation in the history of the world. I guess he never got the capitalist thing down while attending to his duties as a community organizer. Not surprising there is less and less for him to tax.
