Good point....! We could add to that the cost of the original investment to get the business started in the first place....most of the time, those costs are never reimbursed to the investors who helped to start the business. Those funds could well have been invested in something else, but that new start up....and 9 times out of 10, the new business doesn't succeed....But how many people recognize that today? They should also share the business cost for losses as well
