I worked in financial services and had many clients who owned successful small businesses. Each one had worked hard and put in long hours. In the beginning, they, like you, had to wear many hats at the same time until they could finally grow enough to hire specialized labor.

In my experiences with these people, I have to say that the old canard about a restaurant being a potential goldmine was true. It was astonishing how profitable the small, family owned restaurants were, of the ones in my client base.

Another one that amazed me was a wood pallet business. That's all the owner did....make wood pallets and ship them all across the country. He got most of the wood from state and national forest land with a permit to cull the timber. The most simple business model imagineable.
