Just went with the 1366x768 screen (720p). I have that on my Toshiba and it works perfect. Of course if I don't like the machine I can send it back like I did with the ThinkPad W510 I tried in Nov 2010. Was not satisfied with the sound and the fix they issued still did not resolve the sound issues.

Tax, just 5% in Alberta, no PST here....yet....

Price was right. One thing about the higher end Toshiba's they come with a standard 3 year warranty.

I was researching Windows 7 Experience Index, and the i5 XPS 15 only came back with 4.6 for graphics and the i7 came back with 6.9 they use different video cards in both machines. For gaming, the i5 was about the same as the i7.

I need speedy graphics for some of the work I do. Not gaming, just 2D work.
