The Managing Director of BP Oil New Zealand [John Milward] said to me in 1986 when I was being transferred to BP Oil International in London that it would be so much better if they could just move me to a family over there and an English migrant to my family in New Zealand. The costs of transfer would be tiny = a couple of airline tickets instead of about 10, school fees, house rental, hotel accommodation while houses are found, car buying, all the psychological disruption. Then the cost of moving us all back again in 2 or 3 years.

<I understand your bias towards "Tradeable Citizenship"..

Would be nice if we could to that with Marriage, Children, and Relatives..
