I know the NEC relationship has been settled but here is a recent correspondence- Jean Krahulec wrote: Mr. Fauci, I recently received your e-mail regarding clarification of Identix resellers. NEC does OEM our TouchPrint 600 Live-Scan product. Identix provides the majority of the software, the scanner, the cabinet, and the monitors. NEC uses their own PC as part of the system. NEC also uses their version of a feature extraction software. NEC also has a feature called QID, which was a joint development. Please refer to our web page at www.identix.com, where I believe you will find a press release on this product. The NEC live-scan is called the LS21. This agreement between NEC and Identix is fairly recent. As far as Lockheed is concerned, I am unaware of how Lockheed resells Identix products.
