Kev:

----> I played with a few quick calculations this morning and realized that I could save over $300 per month on my mortgage if I re-finance. Time to look into this further, so I can have more money to piss away! Christ the wife will probably buy more new furniture when she hears this.

On matters of this nature----I, (by reason of my mature years) have a vast expertiece on actions of this ilk.
Free advice ---here it comes---

DON'T
... tell her the whole truth.
....lie
....elaborate

DO
...keep two seperate accounts
...tell her the refinance is healthy for the family
...tell her she sure looks sexy
...beat her to the newspaper and tear out the furniture ads
...tell her that it's been proven that ALL new furniture contains some additive that causes pre mature aging, especially in females.

Regards---tell the truth, just re arrange the facts, Nemer

Kevin:

I'm in the middle of a refi. right now. Rates are low, low, low. My broker recommends doing a no point refi. and then if rates continue to drop, do it again in a couple months to snag the lower rate. 30-year fixed Jumbo is running around 7 3/4 right now.
