When Android is above Apple now and Apple used to be above Android a year ago, then Apple lost market share. Call it what you will.. that Apple did not grow above market growth or that Android grew 10 times that of Apple. The fact is that Apple used to be above Android a year ago and now is below it. And Samsung and HTC were the biggest beneficiaries.

I guess this proves the obvious. There are a lot more low end users than high end users. Hence Android market share continues to grow, all the while Apple continues raking in the lion's share of the money. Exactly where Apple wants to be.
