Tony,

My read on this free-fall is the same. I have an X2 modem, my ISP uses X2 technology, both my kids have 3com ethernet cards for their network at college. Coms has a substancial market presence and isn't going to fade away. This is either the opportunity of a lifetime, or there's some unbelievably bad news coming down the pipe. I find it even more amazing that someone on this thread predicted this script, last week, when Coms first broke below $40. I sold at $49 before the Hong Kong meltdown and bought back in at $43. Not in my wildest dreams did I anticipate Coms below $30. Somehow the loss I'm taking, tempers the excitement of Coms at these levels, but plan margin myself out when the dust settles to get my average price pe share into the high
20's.

I'm not sure if there is anything wrong with the company but nevertheless I will hold on to it (probably being the last long on COMS). I just wish we would get some news from COMS.
It seems to me I got two of the greatest companies in portfolio (COMS and SUNW) but both seem to be the favorites of shortsellers and people who buy and sell based on analyst's recommendations.
Oh well, not much downside left at these levels ;-)
Just happy that I never bought on margin.
