True, but it's obvious they are VERY serious about this. They've bet the farm on it and they have the money and therefor the time it will take to get it off the ground. Few other companies have the resources or experience to have taken such a gamble. They may not have burned all their bridges but a lot.

They have tons of experience with Microsoft so they will be able to integrate with their legacy, a great new OS AND plenty of experience with RISC devices.

Reverting back to android or softie would be loss of face disaster.

You know, I don't think I'm in the minority in saying that most of what comes out of the box in the iPad plus a couple of other apps is sufficient for my needs. I don't need 200k apps of mostly junk to sift through. As long as there are sufficient productive apps and utilities, the platform (TouchPad) will or should do well.
