HP has a retail infrastructure - it is often below the horizon. Years ago I bought HP's photosmart printers and digital camera's. They still send me weeklt Emails and offer some wonderful discounts. They have relationships with many other makers of products: cameras,etc -they market them very efficiently but not with a high exposure. I think as they have changed their board recently,a large emphasis has been focussed on retail markets which provide higher margins. No doubt a lesson they've taken from AAPL. Bob
