The "Big Announcement" Iomega Press conference so far today has been a total bust. Their new drive, called Clique?, is vaporware until at least next Summer 1998. SYQuest could conceivably come up with such a device as well in the meantime, and head Iomega off at the pass. However, the continued delay also opens up other avenues for other companies to also come up with mini-storage solutions as well. I'm waiting awhile to get back into SYQT. I like the prospects of the company, but due to upcoming share dilution, it's price is presently too high.
