Let's simply think: and use some common sense here.

We cannot be lead around by our noses but must make our own analyses of the past/future company business. It seems that market fear/greed psychology is in the fear mode; this is what leads to good buy prices if the future growth of the company is not endangered....I don't see that it is.

Gordon,
When you talk about NT vs Solaris you are talking apples and oranges. NT is an immature operating system used by home PC's and business e-mail and word processing. Solaris is a mature operating system used for high-end servers and developement. I dare you to find one company using NT for any fault-tolerant servers. NT is a joke and Bill Gates is a mastermind at manipulation and marketing. The analysts who talk about Sun and Microsoft are not high-tech people. They only spew out rhetoric based on buzz words that they hear, they do not make up their own minds on these things. Waht Sun and Microsoft are vieing for is control over the INTERNET. This is why Java is such an important issue. Basically whoever controls Java has a leg up on everyone.
