That's precisely correct. The bailouts, the QE, the backstops, the regulations: they are designed to benefit the elite, not the working class. Eventually it will backfire, but the aristocracy always thinks they'll be dead long before then. Historically, most of them are because it takes so long for people to get hungry and motivated, but for one generation of the elite, the end comes and they find themselves broke, or if they are unlucky, they wake up dead.
