Sounds like O'Reilly wasn't prepared.

I agree, Bee. I didn't see it live, but I watched it later on YouTube. I could tell immediately when O'Reilly began the interview by profusely thanking Obama for saving his Fox associates in Egypt that he was intimidated by being there and was obsequiously kissing Obama's behind. I thought he was going to cry for a second!

He seemed out of his element, he looked timid, and Obama controlled the early parts of the interview. I could not watch more than about five minutes before closing it. Did it finish any better than it started?

Dan Rather (whom I despise) was much more forceful and assertive with GHW Bush in at least two interviews that I recall. Of course, when he attempted to smear GW Bush, he was finally exposed, ruined, and ultimately discarded to the trash bin of activist journalists, which made my day!
