This is where Google was going with the Nexus and completely failed. Let see if Apple can go where Google couldn't.

That could explain the implosion to $348 today... anything that means lower margins will devastate Apple the stock IMO...

BTW, the whole idea sounds exactly like what Google tried to do with the Nexus original brand... what was missing at the time was the universal SIM (and still is missing)...
