These "hearings" are making me crazy. Basically, we have a bunch of idiot politicians marking their turf and trying to use Greenspan to help grab a headline. At some point he'll probably come through. In a previous life I put many words in the mouths of public figures and, I can tell you, the really scary part of every speech is the Q&A...gives the speaker a chance to tell 'em what he Really thinks! Given Greenspan's love of gab, I see no good coming out of his remarks today. Michael M. P.S. Hope the price action is just a reflection of "buy-on-the-rumor" types getting out of the way of the "news."
