I think you have very good health facilities if one goes to the name brand places. Obviously, we always buy insurance before traveling South, as who needs to go broke on a holiday? In any event, our Health System generally covers all costs and our private insurance usually pays nothing or very little. I did have one bad experience at a clinic in Vegas, but for the most part I've never had a problem with Americans in any capacity. Americans who sit on their ass all day on the internet being obnoxious are probably atypical...
