Divx DVDs could be the key to the immediate and sustainable success of Zenith's web store. Recommend that Zenith obtain the rights to sell Divx players and disks not only through selected Zenith dealers but at their web site. This would generate high and frequently returned traffic as well as possible purchasers of other Zenith products. Assuming a Divx player sells for $549 and each disk for $5, purchasers could get the player and 10 disks all for under $600. Many would come back to the "store" to purchase new releases and check out other featured Zenith products for possible purchase.
