If you were a MM short both 25calls and 25puts, it would be in your interest for the stock to expire@25: you would not get exercized.

If you were a MM short 25calls, it would be in your interest for the stock to expire <= 25: you might be tempted to manipulate the stock down to 25.

If you were a MM short 25puts, you might be tempted to manipulate the stock up to 25.

But, gee whiz, they wouldn't do that - would they? ;)
