Found the answer to my Hotmail question. From the Hotmail Forum from Edlyn B. "You're seeing the unknown contact when clicking the To field because someone has invited you to join a Windows Live Group. Note that this unknown contact will now show up in your Contact list. You need to decline the invitation to have this unknown contact removed in the To field drop-down. For the steps on how to decline an invitation, please follow the steps below: 1. Click Contacts. 2. Click View invitations. 3. Click on Groups. 4. Click No, thanks"
