The message to Calfornia and sny other state is to leave our children and grandchildren alone-------stop turning them into gays and lesbians.

What happened to the basic purpose of elementary schools et al ---------teaching the major subjects of reading, English, Writing and Arithmetic (mathematics).

Taxpayers fund the schools---------taxpayers now need to rise up in indignation and demand that schools do what they were originally chartered to do ------to educate, not to indocrinate.

"would require all students in social studies class to admire 'lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender' role models."

The whack jobs of California have no concept of morals in trying to legislate "admiration." With respect to morals, I'm not talking about the queer side of life. I'm talking about the immorality of promoting one side over another - unequal treatment. Have these idiots offered an equal promotion of heterosexual "lifestyles?" Of course, not. But even that would be just as stupid.

School textbooks have long been neutral on the subject of sexuality as it well should be. Historical figures are treated as people, not sexual objects. There have been, undoubtedly, many historical figures of all sexualities in the past but it is not an issue that needs to be addressed. All are recognized for their accomplishments in history, not in their sexual preferences. They are all treated equally and no mention of sexuality is needed or warranted. They have gotten equal treatment by sexuality not being mentioned about anyone.

Sexuality, like religion, has no business in schools. But, in the age of shove-it-down-everyone-else's-throats legislation, the sexual-leftist community feels empowered to do just that. Education in this country is in bad enough shape without having sexual politics thrown into the stew. Kids have a tough enough time keeping their sanity in these mad times.

To the LGBT radicals: Leave the kids alone and STFU.
