Hi vinod,

I don't think Novell would need to hire someone special to sell the company. Just put a quarter page ad in the WSJ. Something to the effect of "Debt free billion dollar a year software company for sale. Lots of cash, huge customer base and very little exposure to asian markets. $15 per share OBO."

With Novells marketing, maybe the company really is for sale and management is trying to figure out why they aren't getting any offers.

Hopefully Novell can show Wall Street something they can grow with this quarter. COMDEX and the release of NDS for NT should help the numbers for Q1. I also recall seeing an article awhile back that suggested that a lot of companies were waiting to do their networking purchases until the end of the year.

Has anyone seen the estimates from First Call? Zacks is at .00 and the one in the fundamental section on the previous page was at .04 the last time I looked.

Regards,

Don
