<<I'm okay with it, the government has never helped me pay my electric bill.>>

The truth of the matter is that the modern world is very difficult for many people.

Many of us were born lucky. Lucky to not have serious health or mental problems. Lucky to figure out the importance of education. I know life was much easier for me than most of my friends. And it was just plain old luck. I worked hard, but even that was pretty easy for me.

So those who are lucky in life, for one reason or another, just have to help those who have a harder time figuring out life.

When I lived in Seattle there is a long bus line out Aurora (sort of a poorer area) which I used to take once in a while. I would watch one wreteched soul after another drag their bodies on that bus with a haggard look of defeat and pain on their faces.

I always remember that.
