There is something off-putting about some of his supporters, no question about it. I'm waiting for Michele Bachmann to throw her hat in the ring.

At every Tea Party rally I've attended there have been a smattering of Ron Paul supporters. I've talked to them and in every instance I walk away shaking my head. Most of them are truthers, all of them are protectionists, and they all want to go back to the gold standard. You can find some Paul supporters on SI, but they are so out of touch with reality, it is a waste of time.
