The problem there is the government created laws to prevent corporations from "bribing" other countries. The entire purpose was to create the need for the corporation to pay elected official through lobbyists and donations and the government then pays taxpayer dollars to bribe the countries. Pretty cool way of paying your money to other countries so that the politicians can collect donations. Of course YOU pay much more than the politicians receive in donations. That is because it is still equitable to the politicians as they get money for free. The tax payer is screwed because they get nothing but ripped off. Talk about major exploitation of the tax payer...and it is very seldom discussed.
