An inaccurate accusation of fan-boyism is not legitimate response to a question that asks you to back up your statement that the iPhone has lost significant market share to the Droid phone.

Dude. If there was ever an Apple fanboy, I found him...

At any rate, it in no way affects the response I made to your post. I simply pointed out that fanboy-ism can result in blindness and that blindness can cause you to see data in a somewhat irrational way sometimes.

>> An additional one is how the Droid will do after a year of competing with the iPhone on the same network

We obviously won't know 'til we know. Clearly, the pre-sales looked good but some people had higher expectations. To what extent this is because VZ was pushing droids so heavily before the iPhone transition, we don't know.

but given your unwillingness or inability to answer the previous two questions, I rather doubt you will attempt this one either.

I didn't answer the previous question because it made absolutely no sense. "What was the iPhone USA market share when the Droid was introduced?" How is that a meaningful figure at all?

In the MRQ, Droid has 53% of the market. So, droid has gone from 0-53% in record time. Meanwhile, in the MRQ, iPhone's share dropped by 4%.

As I pointed out before, their successes really overshadow the missed opportunities sometimes.
