DVD drive lens cleaner: the CD lens cleaner disk arrived and it has bristles attached to a track near the center. It plays music and then instructs you to go to track 3. After that it says the cleaning is finished. Obviously that wouldn't help if the drive didn't recognize the disk at all. My drive works ok for CDs but not at all for DVDs [which have a separate laser lens]. Well, I got a new external USB CD/DVD drive and will use that for DVDs. As for a lens cleaner disk, I can't recommend it. A $6.47 mistake :) The more expensive ones cost over half as much as a replacement internal CD/DVD drive [under $20]
