Yeah, Filemaker is a decent end-user tool. It lacks some of the features required of a real database for doing development, though -- like referential integrity. FMP also doesn't support SQL, which kind of rules it out from a serious developer's standpoint.

Yes but there was the tie in with Visual Basic etc,

Ahhh... make it compatible with Internet Explorer/Outlook and you have yourselves a VIRUS magnet.

Just what any small business would like to screw around with.
