Yes. Samsung on the other hand will NEVER be first. And it will never gamble.

Because it is a risk, and it takes vision and experience and talent and a LOT of work.

BUT Palm did it. A dinky company compared to Google's partner Samsung. A dinky company with energy and vision. And you have to hand it to HP. NOBODY has more experience than they do with printers, monitors, big business everything. Visionary and a big gamble. The perfect marriage and one I hope succeeds.

You are agreeing with me in essence. Google has pilot fish, who are too lazy to contribute to upgrading and maintaining a platform, with no vision or creativity... as partners. All of it's partners are the same or worse.

This is a new world. Accelerating competition, where hardware technology is generic and doesn't matter much.
