WRT to the iPad, however, I do think it is really, really important for them to get multitasking worked out, though -- without it, they're going to start running into road blocks that droid-based devices don't face. The problem, I suspect is power consumption, but I really don't know.

First problem is that iPad is a first generation device. All the unreleased rumor products without prices are second generation devices.

The second problem is that Apple doesn't like to release a function until it works really, really well. So they are stuck waiting for the hardware to catch up to the software.

You are comparing unreleased phantom products with a real product that has been in the hands of consumers for almost a year. Don't you see the basic unfairness in that comparison?

You think none of these other unreleased devices will have flaws? Maybe fatal flaws? You are giving the benefit of the doubt to products that have never seen a real consumer.
