Perhaps it is lost on you, but market share has everything to do with profits.

I guess that explains the demise of Mercedes, BMW and Lexus then? Just who the hell worries about their market share?

As we say in Wikipedia, "citation needed."

Tell it to Porsche.

Use that "fact" to explain why Dell is so profitable and dominant (NOT!).

Remember how much worldwide marketshare GM had when they drove themselves into oblivion? (Hint, they were number 1)

How can one look at Apple's Macintosh P&L over the past five years, and say that?

It *sounds* reasonable, but seriously......
