I would prefer a simple consumption (use) tax where only purchases and services are taxed (except food, energy, water, and banking transactions).

If you buy something, you pay a tax. If you don't buy anything, you pay no tax.

This is the best way to reward saving and investing for one's future.

No income tax. No capital gains tax. No property tax. No death tax.
