Radical islamist don't give a damn about "American double standards" or human rights. When they get power (see Iran and Afghanistan) they outdo everyone in repression.

This is just an example of silly liberal thinking about our enemies .... who are always depicted as essentially justified by our failure to be liberal and understanding enough.
