Apple stock price is based on selling expensive high margin products. I fail to see how that will fit in. They'd have to sell billions of these dumbphones (to dumb people I guess) just to make the same profit they do in selling a few million iPhones. But as you said... that's all speculation at this point... and the Apple friendly media has proved time and time again that they fall for Apple rumors and garbage... do you remember the resolution that the iPad 2 was supposed to have?? LOL

At this ridiculous valuation, considering the amount of patents and IP that Nokia is sitting on, I'm surprised that lots of suitors have not come out of the wood work with all the cash they have. IMO, it is a great opportunity for either Apple, Google, HP, Samsung, LG, who knows, to get their hands on some incredible IP and manufacturing capacity. But maybe they are waiting for much lower valuation, who knows...JMHO.

Jobs has never liked drives.

He's got the design school mentality: "Less is more"

I don't see how they could get by with no memory but I can see them paring it down to a minimum.

And for Sly - a small phone like this completely subsidized by vendors means the same profit margin of larger phones and...

a larger MARKET SHARE, he he.
