All - We may be reacting too quickly to the annoucement. (I know what you're thinking, "US? No way!") Remember, the press conference is still ongoing. More news along the lines of the Hitachi OEM may be forthcoming. - Allen

Lesson learned here. Don't set your expectations so high. The constant hype surrounding this thread is quite alarming. I have never see so many nervous nellies in my life. Do you people have all your eggs in one basket, the mortgage and the kids education. Hearing that people actually loose sleep over this stuff is a joke. Why don't we all take a big breath and settle down a bit. Iomega will do fine. It's this internet bull that brings everyone bouncing off walls.
