Remarkably the California Fruit Company has exempted Netflix from their 30% cut in-app purchase percentage.

Its nice to see that Netflix is powerful enough that Apple is already indicating they will be breaking their new "rule", to be enforced on "all" publishers in March, requiring subscriptions be available in-app and that Apple get a 30% cut when purchased this way.

Looks like Apple now has a different set of rules for different content providers, based upon the amount of milking of that particular provider they perceive can get away with, and how many customers they'll lose if they piss off that provider.

Go Netflix! You rock. Even Steve Jobs gotta kiss this company's ass now. ;)
