All: Disappointed

I was expecting something REALLY BIG, not press releases that amount to the rebirth of nHand.

Clik! sounds like a good idea, but unfortunately the market it needs to capture hasn't matured yet. Pictures taken with digital cameras are fine for web sites but are not sharp enough for color output purposes.
Filmless (digital) photography is still hype. Hand held Windows CE computers have sold poorly because people don't see the point in buying one. If you want to store people's addresses, time schedules, etc. a USR Pilot is a pretty good choice. Why would anyone want to do Excel or Word on a palm top that has a laughable chiclet keyboard and tiny display?

Some other ramblings:

SparQ - low price point is intriguing especially when compared to 1GB Jaz, but early reliability concerns, shipment delays will kill this product. Performance seeking power users will skip it since its not SCSI. Syquest only redeemable product is the SyJet. EZFlyer 230 acceptance like the LS120 still remains low.

ZipPlus - what an external Zip drive should've been in the first place. Kinda pricey at $199. Regular ZIP should be priced at $99 (no rebates) and ZipPlus priced at $149. Included software bundle is nothing great.

Internal Laptop Zip - Finally! 12.7mm is in testing by select OEMS

Jaz2 - like the idea but initial price of $549 (internal) is a little steep.

Buz - good idea, looks easy to use and priced right at $199 (considering you also get an Ultra SCSI card to boot). I've been waiting to purchase this for three months now, latest I've heard from distributors is due to production problems it will ship sometime in Jan '98.
