The uber rich don't want their tax free munis to be taxed. Period.
Most of them don't give a hoot about the earned income tax rate. It's pocket change.

To me, the real tell is simply that you don't hear the uber rich calling for flat tax schemes.

You give me the impression that this tiny segment holds a great deal of sway over an issue that many debt free folks would find plausible, even desirable? Why is that?

Whether it's "fair tax", "flat tax", most will agree, our system needs an overhaul.

The Tea Party clearly showed that to be the case.
