Hello, old buddy! I'm just getting back into action after a couple of weeks without a computer. To briefly respond to your last post to me -- Rather than make any recommendations (which I am not qualified to do in any case), I would just note that my personal preference of the four stocks you mentioned would be be SUNW and LSI. SUNW becaue of my belief in the prospects for a future, netcentric internet world where Java will play a key role. And LSI as the premier company in the system-on-a-chip world with their "Coreware" approach to ASICs.
I'm sure that ASND is capable of getting their acquisitions integrated and back on the growth track...but they face CSCO and COMS, and those are heavy hitting competitors. AUSPEX has to compete against Sun, and I would prefer to bet on Sun...JMHO, of course. Good luck! (Sorry I took so long getting back) dlo TSO
