My position is that someone else's hunger, thirst, health, happiness, safety, financial security, and debts are really none of my business. That's not to say that I would not be a Good Samaritan in an emergency. I would. But I think that the vast majority of people's problems are caused by their own stupidity, compulsiveness, and general irresponsibility. That's not my problem. I am responsible for my own life and my wife's life. That's all. The best thing that people can do for each other is to take care of their personal affairs and accept responsibility for their own lives. I do not appreciate being saddled with the burdens, debts, and responsibilities of others. I have my own life to live. You'd be amazed at how much people would naturally help each other if the government would get out of the way. -ng- The government bloodsuckers have no compunction about leeching us dry and wasting most of what they steal from us on their self-serving interests.
