For my Eagle Scout project, I had to paint the parking meters in my hometown. Nothing wrong with requiring some
type of work.

I pay a grown man to mow my lawns, and I pay him well, it's not servitude, he has a job, he's happy for the work, I pay him for the work... where do you draw the line? A company CEO is also in servitude to his shareholders, I don't see it as anything other than the free market at work... you make it sound as if it's demeaning or beneath someone to have an honest job...
