It is easier to say than do especially when you are using margin.
Margin calls are no fun. Sun is going too low for my liking.
26 should be the bottom, but I will be done if it hits there.

Addi,

The yield on the long bond is going down, now at little above 6%, I just can't believe people are leaveing the stock market, where is all the money going to, lousy 6%, CD's, money market. Watch when all the dust settles, the herd will come back with a powerful rally.

I was just talking to a guy at Pain Webber, He said that Tuesday things will turn around and also said that his firm hopes that there won't be any panic buying which would push the market to all time high in a very short period. I hope what he is afraid of happens, that way perhaps maybe I could get out of some of my positions.

Pierre

Pal, they're talking about you with sympathy in the "Investing in a Bear Market" thread.

You should be stressed. Sometimes Pain is Pain. Listen to your wife and put some of your money in a CD.

>And we (my wife and I that is) have 85% of our assets tied in the stock market and all in high techs.

It is stressful, for sure, but it should go without saying that if you are totally invested in high techs you WILL have the highest highs, the lowest lows, the steepest climbs and the fastest falls. If you want to level it out a bit, I would suggest you consider so good old blue chips. Or, relax, enjoy the ride!
