What a poor, scaremongering report. NASA is not "braced for a tsunami". The end of the article says "A NASA spokesman was unavailable for comment."

If we're lucky we'll see some aurora, nothing worse. In fact, the sun has been very inactive in it's current cycle. Any increase in activity would be over due.
