Again, agree to disagree. Apples ads have a completely different target and are great at what they were intended for, aimed at their previous but lost customers, saying it's OK to buy an Apple with the suggestion that all these cool non-comformists say it's OK and implying that they would buy Apples.

My suggestion on Intel ads is that with a 80% to 90% market share, the best way to spend their money is to get people to buy/upgrade their computers by showing the benefits, not get people to buy a Pentium II IF they decide to buy. I think you could get across the brand recognition piece AND show the benefits in the same ad. They would generate more profit per advertising dollar spent if they could create NEW buying decisions, rather than just convince those who had already decided to buy to get a PII.
