I remember when you had to pay a bribe to get a phone or natural gas delivered. The latter is still in effect. I'm surprised we don't see #'s on their loss in tourism. Guess the drug $ is making up the difference.

We used to go regularly. It's a short flight from where we lived. I have to agree with you as we had some kind of adventure every time we went. Nothing bad, just surprises. Really loved the country and the people the way things were in the 70s and 80s.
