OEM drive price expected < $100, (and subtract from that the cost of
flash memory (let's see, how much does 40MB of flash cost.....?)

As usual, you're missing both the details and the big picture. The drive as a separate entity will be priced at below 200, and the OEM models will naturally be much less.

And why are you happy today? Are you short on the stock or are you just enjoying the illusion that you have been smarter than everyone else?
