It's a bear trap. The market is heading south for now. Smart money is exiting. Look for a recovery in stocks around February time frame if Asian/South American crisis turns out to have minimal impact on earnings. Otherwise, the market will trade sideways for a while. Long term we are still in a bull market since interest rates are still low and a lot of the money is parked on the sidelines.
